In Memory of Mark Pape

Veteran traffic reporter and fantasy football aficionado Mark Pape (aka Papester) passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2023. He was 63 years old. Mark was beloved by all who knew him. For over 30 years, his voice was a comfort to thousands who listened to his daily traffic reports, most notably on KCBS Radio where his air name was “Mitch Thompson.” Mark was a loving husband to Sandy and adored his precious daughters Ashley and Heather. He was also a proud grandfather to Dylan and Carly whom he loved so very much.

Funds raised will go to Mark's family to help offset memorial expenses and outstanding medical bills.
