Mark Ruiz (Captain Mark)

Mark Ruiz aka Captain Mark passed away suddenly at home Saturday night, Christmas Eve, surrounded by his family and the love of his life Lori Ruiz. Mark truly touched the lives of everyone that he crossed paths with. Mark wore many hats during his time with us. His favorite hat was his Captain's hat. Mark loved to sing and entertain everyone no matter where he was. He will truly be missed by so many.

During this heartbreaking time, the family is asking for donations to assist his wife Lori with expenses. Mark was the main source of income in their household collecting his pension, and social security and he still performed locally. Lori recently was laid off as a casualty of covid downsizing. Losing her job also caused her to lose the life insurance policy that would have taken care of her during this difficult time. She is unable to collect Mark's pension and social security until she is 65. We are asking for help to get her through this next year to keep her afloat.

The family is unable to have a memorial at this time. A celebration of life will take place in the spring when weather permits and family can gather with music and love for the Husband, Brother, Father and Papa that they loved.
