Our beloved Mark recently passed on 05/10/2020. Mark was a wonderful brother, son, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his father Mark Ruybal, his mother Tina Kieran, his brothers Jude and Elijah Ruybal, his grandmother Alice Ruybal, his step mother Dawn Galbreath, his step sister Tayler Kiernan, his step brother Jake Kiernan, extended family and friends.
Mark dedicated his life to his family, friends, his faith and forming strong bonds and connections. He impacted those around him through his loyalty, compassion, positivity, supportive nature , calm presence and motivational drive. He received a Bachelors Degree in Science, was a direct childcare worker at short term residential boys home providing services to foster and probationary youth, was head coach for a Junior Varsity High School team along side his Dad as well as worked as a Case Manager/Behavior Coach at a community Behavioral Health agency.
Mark enjoyed fantasy football, comedy, music/concerts. He was a huge Notre Dame, Denver Broncos , Denver Nuggets and Colorado Rockies fan.
We are all devastated by Mark's loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Mark the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mark's funeral. We are setting the goal of $13,000 to be able to afford the funeral service. The funeral is at 1:00PM MDT on Monday May 18th 2020 at St. John the 23rd Catholic Church 1220 University Ave. Fort Collins, CO. 80521 United States. It will be held both virtually and in person.
Here is a link to the fundraiser for Mark. https://www.gofundme.com/f/mark-ruybal-ii. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help Mark's family and loved ones during this difficult time. Any excess of the goal will be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital to preserve the wishes of Mark and his family.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful day.
