Mark Stephens Celebration of Life and bills.

My name is Jennifer Stephens. On December 8, 2023, my life was turned upside down by the passing of my husband of 28 1/2 years, Mark. On November 10th he was diagnosed with liver cancer which had spread to his pancreas, lungs and goodness knows where else. He fought steadfastly for almost a month but it wasn’t enough. The cancer was too aggressive and had riddled his body. I miss him terribly. His sense of humor was unmatched by anyone. To us, he was the king of “dad puns”.

Mark had many friends throughout his time working for Tower Records and Video, as well as his 25 years working for Costco. I would love to meet all of them and let them have a chance to remember him and regale all of us with fun stories and memories about their time with him.

We hadn’t made plans for something like this and I want to have a Celebration of Life for him early Summer of ‘24.

I’m also needing assistance to pay bills that were neglected in the few months prior to his diagnosis and passing; when symptoms were starting and had made him think he was paying the bills, when in fact, he did something else with the money, I wish I knew. Now that I’m trying to survive on one income, I don’t know if I could ever catch up.

Your kindness and generosity are so truly appreciated by me, as well as our children, Alexandra and Kelsey (John).

Besides our children, Mark is also survived by his oldest daughter, Megan Zamora as well as his granddaughter, Amelia and his loving sister Sue Wright.
