Mark Waddell's Sudden Departure

On Saturday July 25, 2020, Mark was at home not feeling well when his wife Jennifer took him into the local hospital.  While there he suffered a major heart attack, as the left side of his heart failed.  He was unconscious for 30 minutes while hospital staff did their best to resuscitate him. He was put on a ventilator to sustain his breathing and a heart pump. Within the first 24hrs doctors decided that he would need a stronger pump to support his body, which would need to be done at a bigger hospital. Mark was flown to the UW to meet his medical needs. 

Mark was at the UW hospital receiving treatment for his heart attack as well as complications from that episode.  Tragically, on Friday July 31, 2020, Mark took his last breath.  In his last moments, his wife Jennifer and his son Nate were able to be by his side.  

The loss of such a wonderful man is felt wide and broad across the world.  He loved his wife and family.  Unfortunately, Mark was not qualified to receive life insurance due to his life-long diabetes.  In the wake of his death Jennifer faces a multitude of bills and an overwhelming financial burden.
