Mark's Matthews Road to Recovery

On Dec 6th, LEHR's Operations Manager, Mark Matthews suffered a serious stoke. For those that know Mark there is no challenge he can't conquer. Mark is known as the LEHR Fleet Show coordinator, Operations Manager, IT manager, and is willing to do just about any position 150%.
His original surgery was not as successful as expected and had some complications that required a follow-up surgery about a week later. His second surgery required placing a stent in the troubled blood vessel and this did stabilize his body for recovery. After spending 15 days at Kaiser hospital between ICU and a recovery room he was moved to Kaiser rehab in Vallejo where he spent Christmas and New Years away from his family. Mark is expected to be released for "at home" treatment this Friday January 11th. As of today he has limited mobility and very little speech.
Mark and his wife Nicole have three young children ages, 9 , 8 and 5 years old. While he is making progress in rehab he most certainly has a long road ahead for any kind of recovery. Our prayers and thoughts for the Matthew’s family have been heavy on our hearts through these rough times.
Mark has been in this industry, emergency vehicle equipment, for over 10 years and has built relationships with many of you. In sharing some of this news many of our vendors, customer and business friends have asked how they can help.
We felt it would best help the Matthew’s Family by creating a GoFundMe account to assist during these difficult times. Financially I set the goal at $10,000 to assist the Matthews family with medical deductibles and loss of income while on State Disability. Any and all contributions are much appreciated.
