Mark Boulanger’s Cancer Fight

Mark Boulanger, or ‘Bo’ as his friends like to call him, has dedicated 28 years to serving his community as a fire fighter. Bo has also worked on the frontlines of many in and out of state Wildland fire crews . Bo’s community service doesn’t end there- he has donated his time and skills as a gifted guide to Wounded Warriors and the Make-A-Wish foundation. He has made many people’s wishes come true. 

Bo is a pillar in his community and is beloved by his family, friends, and fellow fire fighters. With two and a half years until retirement, Bo now finds himself with stage 4 lung cancer. He has been misdiagnosed and wrongly treated for Valley fever and pneumonia for a year and a half. It was only four days ago when they finally did a lung biopsy and discovered he actually has lung cancer. Had they discovered the cancer sooner, he might not be in this life or death situation. They took a year and a half of his life, now we’re trying to give him back his future.

Bo has spent the better part of his life protecting the people of Arizona and America, it’s our turn to protect him.
