Markell Thompson's Legacy

Greetings,

I am Destiny Thompson-McKinney, Markell Thompson's cousin. I have created this page on behalf of his mother, Bernadette Thompson. As some of you may know, Markell lost his battle with kidney failure on June 17, 2023.

Markell loved his family. He took pride in being a Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Protector. But nothing brought him more joy than being a FATHER to Mekhi(16) and Elija(6). Today and every day moving forward, WE (The Family) stand in that same JOY as we take up his mantel in Fatherhood. We are asking you to stand with us on this journey. We are creating a trust fund for Mekhi and Elija. Your help is needed.

Markell was just 39 years old when he passed. While Markell had measures in place for his babies, we know those measures would have grown over time. We want to continue to build on what he left behind for his babies. Please donate in place of flowers and cards, as all proceeds will go directly to Mekhi and Elija.
