Hi, my name is Kesala Wheeler and I am an Author, Master Hairstylist and Owner of KeSalon Coiffure located at 1831 Manhattan Blvd Ste D, Harvey, LA 70058. We are located in a premier location 20 minutes from New Orleans Convention Center and French Quarter. 

We provide a wide range of Cosmetology services to upper-class and middle-class working women and mothers who need to invest in their self-care routines.

Our Salon environment is extremely healthy for all of our guests. Alone, the salon’s environment is a total de-stressor, peaceful and instantly gives a boost to these women's self-esteem and self-confidence. 

We are a 5-star salon! You can check out our reviews on Google; Quality and impeccable customer service is what we offer to everyone. We do not miss it! We invite you, the donator, to schedule an appointment with our salon someday. You will not be disappointed. 

We also provide onboard training for new hires to strengthen their beauty skills and we provide state board preparatory training to Hairstylists and/or Barbers in need of a Cosmetology license or Barber’s license. The state board training will allow them to pass and become state board certified/licensed to provide proper hair care, beauty care, hair cutting and sanitation services to every guest. This training will keep them in compliance with local laws.

 I, Kesala Wheeler have been a licensed Master Hairstylist for 9 years and I have been in business for 7 years. I provide beauty services to a diverse group of people and I am a black-owned business.

We opened in 2016 in a small, one-man salon suite and now we have expanded to a 7 station salon!

Two years ago, during the pandemic, my Husband and I invested $80,000 cash into our establishment that was once located in an impoverished area in New Orleans East, however, due to customers not being able to afford our services and not being able to hire quality employees because of the crime in that area we decided to relocate and we never broke even. We took a loss, so instead of giving up, we decided to take a risk, revamp our plan and relocate. It was a phenomenal decision and we are happy about it. 

We downsized from 1500 sq-ft to 1000 sq-ft and invested another 25,000 into our new location. Our business is growing but we have exhausted all our funds and we need the extra funding to invest in our Marketing Plan provided below:

 Publicist (Press Release): $9,000.00 for 6 months. Publicity, such as local news, Interviews, and Magazines. The publicist will spotlight our growing Brand. 

Social Media Advertising: $1,200.0 for 3 months to reach local masses.
