**In Loving Memory of Markos Sayegh: A Cherished Father, Son, and Brother Taken Too Soon**

We are heartbroken to share the tragic news of the untimely passing of Markos Sayegh, a beloved father, son, and brother, who was senselessly taken from us on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Markos was a light in the lives of all who knew him, always greeting the world with a smile, even in the face of adversity.

Markos was shot in broad daylight while on his way to a friend's house. Found unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds, he was quickly rushed to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. This senseless act of violence has left our family shattered and searching for answers.

Beyond the pain and injustice, Markos was a remarkable human being. At 35 years old, he was an accomplished mechanic with a love for deep-sea fishing, a hobby that mirrored the depth of his character. But above all, Markos was a devoted father to his eight-year-old son, Isaac, who is non-verbal and autistic. Markos's world revolved around Isaac, and their bond was a testament to the unconditional love he had for his son.

Today, we are reaching out to our community for support. We are faced not only with the profound grief of losing Markos but also with the immediate financial strain of funeral expenses and the cost of bringing Isaac to California from Virginia to attend his father's funeral. In this unimaginable time of loss, we are asking for your help.

Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards covering these expenses and supporting Isaac in this time of unimaginable loss. If you cannot donate at this time, we ask that you share this campaign to help reach others who might be able to assist.

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any support you can offer. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us during this dark time. As we navigate this tragedy, we are reminded of the light Markos brought into our lives and the importance of community in facing the unimaginable.

In loving memory of Markos, we thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and support.
