Mark's College Tution

Hi, my name is Melissa and I fundraising to help my son Mark pay for college. Mark gets no financial aid and any donation that you can contribute would be greatly be appreciated. Mark is currently a Senior at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is working towards a Bachelors in Computer Science. Mark was diagnosed with a malignant Optic Glioma(Brain Tumor) on November 2009 at the age of 7. The tumor was partially removed December 3, 2009 and he underwent chemotherapy for 14 months from December 2009 until February 2011 at the Methodist Children's Blood and Cancer Center in San Antonio, Texas. The tumor was stable until March of 2013. Mark received 52 (Proton Therapy) Radiation treatments from March 18, 2013 to May 28, 2014 at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. His tumor has been stable ever since. Mark is now blind in his right eye and only has 50% vision in his left eye. All the chemo and radiation treatments has caused him to have Adrenal Insufficiency, Hypothyroidism, and other issues. Mark continues to have numerous doctors appointments and will have to take several medications ever day for the rest of his life. Mark has overcome a lot of hardships and remains positive. My son has never complained or given up. He always says "I'm the person I am today because of all the hardships and struggles I went through". Mark is an amazing young man with ambition and determination. Your help would be a blessing to our son. Thank you.
