Mark's Recovery from Sudden Hemorrhagic Stroke

Dearest family, friends, and members of our extended community:

We're reaching out with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for support for our beloved husband, father, and family member Mark Mirenda, who was hospitalized following a sudden and unexpected hemorrhagic stroke last week.

Hemorrhagic stroke is a serious, sometimes life-threatening condition that comes on without warning and can require extensive long-term care. Although Mark's initial tests indicate that he may heal without lasting neurological damage (thank goodness!), the nature of Mark's stroke requires him to stay in the ICU for at least twenty-one days to ensure that he is safely on the road to recovery. After his hospital stay, the family anticipates that there will be additional costs associated with his rehabilitation, medications, and lost wages.
