Marla hat Leukämie – CAR-T-Zell-Therapie

Herzenssache – Marla braucht uns!

Marla ist kurz nach Ihrer Schuleinführung im September 2022 an Leukämie erkrankt. Sie leidet an einer seltenen Form von Akuter Lymphatischer Leukämie, kurz ALL. Eine äußerst seltene Form welche in Verbindung mit einem fehlerhaften, verkürzten Chromosom, namens Philadelphia-Chromosom, steht.

Nach einem halben Jahr in einer Kinderklinik in Thüringen, mit vier Chemotherapieblöcken, schlägt bei unserer kleinen großen Kämpferin die Therapie nicht an wie erhofft.

Marla's einzige Chance zu überleben, ist eine CD7-CAR-T-Zell-Therapie, welche, auf Grund der seltenen Form der Krankheit, nur in einem Klinikum in Singapur durchgeführt werden kann. Die Behandlungskosten in Höhe von 320.000€ sind bei der Krankenkasse angefragt, eine Kostenübernahme ist noch nicht bestätigt, wird aber erwartet.

Auch wenn die Behandlungskosten übernommen werden, müssen die Flüge nach Singapur und zurück, Unterkunft und Versorgung in Singapur, sowie das Leben der beiden Geschwister Luca (11) und Lea (2), während dieser Zeit, von der Familie selbst finanziert werden. Um diese Kosten tragen zu können, benötigen wir eure Mithilfe in Form einer Spende.

Nur mit unserer Unterstützung hat Marla eine Chance den Krebs zu besiegen und am Leben zu bleiben.

Matter of the heart - Marla needs us!

Marla was diagnosed with leukemia shortly after starting school in September 2022. She suffers from a rare form of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, or ALL. An extremely rare form which is linked to a faulty, shortened chromosome called the Philadelphia chromosome.

After six months in a children's hospital in Thuringia/Germany, with four chemotherapy blocks, the therapy did not work as hoped for our little fighter.

Marla`s only chance to stay alive is CD7-CAR-T-cell therapy, which, due to the rare form of the disease, can only be performed in a clinic in Singapore. The treatment costs in the amount of 320.000€ have been requested from the health insurance, a cost coverage is expected but currently not confirmed.

Even if the treatment costs are covered, the flights to Singapore and back, accommodation and care in Singapore, as well as the life of the two siblings Luca (11) and Lea (2), during this time, must be financed by the family itself. In order to be able to bear these costs, we need your help in the form of a donation.
