Hello, friends and family of Marleny Arellano Gonzalez,

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to honor my mother’s memory and to provide financial support for my family during this difficult time. The funds raised will assist us with funeral costs and help us accomplish my mother's wishes to let Mexico be her final resting ground. On August 24, 2023, my mother, Marleny Arellano, passed away at the young age of 55. She touched many lives with her unconditional kindness, infectious laugh, and her ongoing perseverance to never give up. We are all devastated by her loss but she will live on forever in our memories.

My mom was not only an incredible mother but also a cherished sister, a loyal friend, and a grandmother to two. On top of this, she has always been a fighter, beginning when she immigrated from Mexico, and since then has been a hard worker who always put her family's needs before her own. For years, my mother fought tirelessly against her cancer. She endured surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy, and radiation, but even then she remained a pillar of strength for us all, never once complaining or losing hope. She was the backbone of my life and her absence has left a void that can never be filled.

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have offered their condolences, support, and generosity. Your kindness is truly moving and I cannot thank you enough for being there for my family.
