Marlene & Kylee Recovering From Apartment Fire

Hi my name is Marlene, On Ocotober 25, 2023 there was a fire at my apartment building. I had stepped out but my cat Kylee was trapped inside. Firemen were able to rescue her after an hour. She inhaled lots of smoke and we saw the vet a couple of times. He gave her steroids to help open her lungs. I lost everything in the fire but thankfully I still have my girl Kylee.

We have been hopping between hotels and are now staying at the cheapest place in town. Thanks to help from my sister, we have no one else and once I use the last of my disability check for next week I will be out of funds. We are trying to find affordable low cost housing like we were in before. This has been an impossible task so far.
