Dear friends,

We are Séber Method Academy, a professional ballet and performing arts school located in Washington, D.C. Founded and directed by Master Teacher Ms. Lilla Séber, we provide a comprehensive training system that maximizes students’ individual potential.

Our Academy presents biannual concert performances, through which students learn and practice essential technicality and performing skills towards professional mastery of dance technique, artistry, and stage experience. For this year's Spring Concert, we are excited to partner with our neighbor Georgetown Day School to present our dance showcase. Georgetown Day School provides us with very close and convenient facilities with their brand new theater space, through which our dancers can warm up at our Séber studios and walk to the theater directly for rehearsals and performances.

However, since the theater is not yet equipped with Marley floor, we need your help to acquire a Harlequin Marley to support our dancers for their performance!

A new and good-condition Marley is an essential component for our dancers to feel most confident on stage, and to perform with greater safety and ease. If we own our own Marley, we can be in control of providing a quality floor for our dancers. The black and white reversible Marley that we are acquiring is also a great investment because we will be able to use it for future performances, studio rentals, and dance photoshoots.

Harlequin is the best quality dance Marley that provides the greatest support for dancers worldwide in dance companies, theaters, and school studios. With the stage dimension of 26'2"x41', the Harlequin Reversible Pro product that we need for the performances along with the Marley Cores, and tax and shipping and handling brings the total costs to $4750.

Harlequin Marley Floor for Spring Concert 2023

Donate your light-used dancewear or exercise/wellness equipment at our front desk.

Donation items may include leotards, leg warmers, body warmers, dance tops & bottoms, skirts, tights, leggings, character/tap shoes, dance bags, unused flat shoes, pointe shoe accessories, hair accessories, and wellness equipment.

Please bring everything in clean condition and sanitize shoes, hair accessories and wellness equipment with alcohol before donating.

Come to the front desk to see the collection and select the items that you would like to purchase. Prices range from $20–$80.

We accept cash, check and credit cards (with a 4% transaction fee) / GoFundMe; bring in the receipt.

Any amount of donation on GoFundMe for the Marley purchase is also greatly appreciated.
