Marley's Emergency Fund

❤️‍Marley is 7 years old and has Cerebral Palsy. She suffers from grand mal seizures which have been increasing over the last 6 months.

On February 7th Marley started to develop a rash following a seizure. This rash progressively got worse until it eventually covered her entire body. She has seen in Several ERs, and finally was transferred to Children’s hospital, where we have been told she is having a rare and severe reaction to a seizure medication that was added to her daily medication at the end of January. Currently we are being told that this is called Dress Syndrome. This is defined as a severe drug reaction characterized by an extensive and painful skin rash in association with visceral organ involvement, enlarged and painful lymph nodes, high fevers, and body swelling. Treatment for this rare reaction is time consuming and not studied extensively.

We have been told that we could be in the hospital for several days, weeks, or a month. It all depends on how this rash develops and secondary complications.
