Marple Community Christmas Card for Marple Dementia Drop-in

As a community we are hoping to raise money for The Marple Dementia Drop-in, a local volunteer run group providing weekly support for those living with dementia and their carers. Any donation will help the people of Marple and make a difference to the lives of people living with dementia. We would love everyone on Marple Community Hub and residents of Marple to donate and spread Christmas joy, even if it’s £1 each it could have a massive impact. Please donate what you can and leave a Christmas message for the fellow residents of Marple and spread Christmas joy.

Marple Dementia Drop-in meet weekly providing a relaxed social gathering for people with dementia and their carers. It’s an opportunity for people living with dementia to get together and share experiences and information, support one another - and have fun!

They provide a safe and familiar environment in which to relax and chat. Many friendships are forged here. Marple Dementia Drop-in host a range of activities including crafts, exercise classes, bingo, short film screenings, guest speakers and entertainment.

Marple Dementia Drop-in is one of the largest dementia support groups in Marple and the surrounding area and have supported hundreds of people with dementia and their carers over the years.
