Marr Family house fire relief

Donation protected
Please help the Marr family. Tim is a Army
Veteran and former Arizona Ranger. He is now employed at Insight in Chandler AZ as a facilities engineer. Tracey, the daughter of a retired Mesa Fire Captain, has taught with Mesa Public Schools for 15 years. She coaches softball, and has previously coached girls on the run. Lilly is a competitive dancer, and loves acting in her drama class. They also have their brave animals; Gemma the dog and Chandler Bing the tortoise. A devastating fire engulfed their home and both of their vehicles, only four days before Christmas.

My name is Alexis Bird and I am starting this go fund me because we are a tight knit community, and I know we all want to help with what we can. I live in "the T" as Tracey calls it, and watched this event unfold.

The Marrs are a modest family. The fire started quickly and it completely consumed their garage, destroyed their kitchen, damaged the attic, and distributed smoke throughout the entire home. Additionally, this fire took out both of their cars in a matter of mere minutes. Luckily, we only lost things. Not people, or pets. And we are so grateful.

They have a long road ahead of them to rebuild.

Thankfully they got out safe and the fire department was able to rescue the animals and christmas gifts. And everyone is now safe at Traceys's parents home.

They will be out of their home for quite a while because of how extensive the damage is. Both from fire and smoke throughout the entire home.

Tracey is a firefighters daughter, and I am sure that when her father and mother got the call their hearts stopped. They rushed to the scene immediately to console Tim and Tracey and to assess the situation (Lilly was safe babysitting at her grandparents home so thankfully she did not witness the fire happening.)

Tracey's own father said “I have done this for 33 years and I have NEVER been on this side” when I heard him say that it made me realize how quickly a fire destroys more than just personal items, it can have effects that will last a lifetime. This entire family will have to rebuild and heal from this tragedy.

Very unexpected expenses and deductibles are starting to pile up. If you can help them and lighten their load a little please donate. Any amount of money helps.

All donations will go to the Marr family to help with deductibles, emergency expenses, a rental home, necessities and anything that the Marrs might need to get back on their feet. Every little bit truly helps to get them moving forward from this difficult disaster. God bless.
