The Purpose Of The Mars Wrld Teen Empowerment And Wellness Resource Fair is to celebrate the youth in our community and commemorate the life of my son Marcelino Camarena.
Our goal is to empower our youth with Suicide Prevention, Substance Abuse Awareness and Mental Health and Wellness resources available to serve them and their families within their communities of San Diego County.
We aim to create a POSITIVE POINT OF CONTACT between youth, family and community because we acknowledge the quality of these relationships as PROTECTIVE FACTORS that can make a difference in our youth's safe transition from adolescence to adulthood. Therefore, we promote healthy cooperative relationships between the youth, families, and the community. The youth are our future and together we can help them reach their full potential!
Mars Wrld Teen Empowerment And Wellness Resource Fair 2023 will take place at the Imperial Beach Sports Park, Marcelino's home skatepark! We will have a SKATING EVENT and TALENT SHOW. The event is an opportunity for the youth to show off their talents and an opportunity for us to show them we appreciate them.
With the money we raise we will help improve the Imperial Beach Skate Park in Marcelino's name as a reminder for the youth to SKATE REAL, SKATE HARD, AND SKATE SOBER! THERE IS HOPE, YOU ARE CARED FOR, AND YOU ARE IMPORTANT!
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS!
