Marsha Fowler Needs Our Support Now
Donation protected
Marsha Fowler, nurse scholar and nursing ethics historian, escaped the fire that raged through Altadena, California, on January 8th. However, she lost her home and many precious belongings. We are grateful that she is safe. She only had a few minutes to grab what she could carry in one trip to the car, so she drove away with only with the clothes she was wearing, a mini laptop and her hearing aids. Please contribute whatever you can to ease her journey through this loss.
My name is Peggy Chinn (https://peggychinn.com/). I am initiating this fundraiser so that Marsha's colleagues and friends can provide this form of support for her during this trying time. I came to know Marsha personally through her contributions to the Nursology.net blog (https://nursology.net/author/marsha-fowler/). I was also honored to preview her groundbreaking book "Nursing Ethics, 1880s to the Present: An Archaeology of Lost Wisdom and Identity" (https://www.routledge.com/Nursing-Ethics-1880s-to-the-Present-An-Archaeology-of-Lost-Wisdom-and-Identity/Fowler/p/book/9781032200712?srsltid=AfmBOoqqmqSURO1P7_rSJ0XdEmtlbBxGbZUlzPK6quT4CSxgkJeZBzk7).
