Marshall Bahr's Mission: Breaking Addiction

Hello, my name is Marshall Bahr, and I am a military veteran, a physician, a husband, and a father. Addiction is an issue that has affected many families across our nation, and my own family is no exception. I have seen firsthand the devastating impact that addiction can have on individuals and their loved ones.

That is why I am completing a full Ironman race to raise awareness and funds for the Family Recovery Center. This organization is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides high quality, cost-effective, holistic services to address chemical addiction, mental health disorders, and other healthcare needs. Their mission is to promote community wellness and support individuals and families on the path to recovery.

An Ironman race is an incredibly challenging endurance event that consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a full 26.2-mile marathon - all completed in succession. By taking on this challenge, I hope to inspire others to join me in supporting this worthy cause and raising awareness of the importance of addiction recovery.

The funds that I am raising will go directly to the Family Recovery Center to support their critical services. This may include funding for treatment programs, mental health services, and other resources to support individuals and families in recovery.
