In loving Memory of Marshall McQuaid

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marshall McQuaid, a devoted husband, father and friend. Marshall was not just an incredible Dad to his son Ashton, but also a loving husband to Dana. He was an integral part of our community, having lived in Scugog his whole life. His infectious laugh and boisterous personality will be missed by all who knew him. Marshall’s life was a testament to hard work, love and dedication, and he will be remembered for the countless ways he made everyone around him feel valued.

Marshall was an ultimate “sports Dad" - always there for Ashton at every game, practice and milestone. He cheered the loudest, supported the hardest and was a constant presence in his son's life, making sure Ashton knew he was never alone on his journey.

Now, as Dana and Ashton learn to navigate life without him, we are coming together to show our support and care. Marshall’s legacy is one of love, kindness and community. Let’s rally around his family, just as he did for us all and show them they are not alone.
