Martha O'Brien Family Assistance

While enjoying some time in sunny PCB, Martha O’Brien, the Mother of our friends Rhonda and Teresa, became extremely ill with shortness of breath, and was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

After numerous tests, and a heart cath, it has been determined that she’ll have to have bypass surgery. The family hoped that Martha could have surgery in Madison, but it is too risky for her to travel. Her surgery will be Monday, and I am sure Rhonda and Teresa will update us on FB when they can.

Understanding that a vacation normally is a few days, most of us have a budget set up. However, this is very unexpected, and they could be there for a few weeks. I know people were asking how they could help the family since they are out of town, and will be for a few weeks, several of us discussed this and creating a GoFundMe account will help them with the unexpected expenses but most of all, they will be able to focus on their mother instead worrying about their finances.
