Martha's Road to Recovery (dog attack)

Hi, my name is Marc and I am a good friend of Martha Mewa.

Martha is kind, loving, and generous, and has been a loyal supporter of our community for decades. She has helped by making meals for shut-ins and has traveled on buses to purchase gifts and supplies for those in need. She volunteers at churches and soup kitchens, and prepares meals for many people without a local support system. Now, we have the opportunity to help her.

For anyone who hasn’t heard, Martha was attacked by a neighborhood dog while walking to work 3 weeks ago. She suffered severe injuries to her right leg. During her recovery at home, she developed an infection, which required emergency surgery last week.

While she is back at home again with her dog, Sophie, her doctors think she may need another surgery. Martha will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future, and bills and medical expenses continue to grow.
