Martin Drive Neighborhood - Red Bow Project

This Gofundme is our Online effort to fundraise for this winter holiday tradition. This annual event is unique for our neighborhood as we have done this for decades.

These red bows, almost 500 of them, are on every tree in the neighborhood.

Neighbors pitch in to put them up over the holidays, the weekend after December 1st, using volunteers from every block and sharing supplies.​​ It is these efforts that help build this community in this Milwaukee neighborhood.

They look great as you drive around the neighborhood. Many residents see these and compliment how nice they look year after year.

In January after New Year's, neighbors also work together to take them down, collecting them and saving ​​​​them for the following year.

100% of the money will go toward red bows... some need to be replaced, and we are looking for sales to stretch donated dollars as costs also are going up. We ask neighbors to collect fallen bows and reuse bows from year to year.
