Martin Ong'wen - On'tour!
Donation protected
The Physio Matters Podcast Team invited Martin Ong'wen to come to the UK from Kenya because little known to him and the world, at one point he gave us the motivation to continue with TPMP when it all just didn't feel worth it.
We got him here, paid for his travel and 3 nights in Manchester but in his first trip to the UK, he wanted to meet more of you and experience more of the UK healthcare system. He asked for a return flight two weeks after the conference and took a punt that some of the institutes who have supported some of his local work, would help him with his this international venture. They went a little quiet...
He's now covering his own trains and rooms and even though the Chews Health pot is rather empty, we think we can inspire you to throw him a few quid by showing you a glimpse of what this man is all about.
He inspired us all at #TheBigRs so please consider a donation to help him with the costs associated with travelling.
Also open to:
- Offers of a place to stay
- Opportunities for paid speaking work or consultancy
- After dinner speaking
- Fashion advice consultancy
Martin's travel plans are somewhat malleable, please let us know if you can help or want to see one of his workshops. Especially if you're in the tour route!
His goal is to help African nations making the same mistakes that the western world made when constructing health services. Every penny in this fund will support an incredible man with his incredible work.
Thank you in advance.
TPMP x
P.s. Hat tip to Ash James, Danielle Brailsford, Brad Neal, Paula Deacon and Reena Patel for their support with this plan over the last 6 months. The home office and the British embassy in Kenya made us jump through some serious hoops to make even his conference visit happen so thanks so much for your help!
