Martin Pestell

Hi my name is Chad and I am looking to raise funds after the tragic loss of my dad, Martin Pestell on the 24th of September 2023.

These funds will go towards funeral costs and to support my family after this sudden and tragic event.

My dad was a healthy hardworking 49 year old man whose life rapidly changed on the 18th September 2023.

My dad was rushed to Lincoln hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest and was maintained in the Intensive Care Unit. Everyone said to me my dad was a fighter and he could do this and I really believed them. Unfortunately the ambulance took a while to arrive, resulting in my dad sustaining significant brain injury.

After many scans it became no longer in his best interest to carry on active treatment as his brain was severely damaged. Martin passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and partner Melanie.

My dad was loved by so many people in Grantham, being a mechanic in the town for the past 30 plus years. He also was involved in a local pool league and sponsored the league too. On top of that my dad was also well known in the Match Fishing community he has done numerous fund raisers for other anglers who were his friends that had sadly passed and even raised over £10k for a young boy who was sadly diagnosed with cancer.

Martin, (my dad) was a real hero and I really want to give him the best send of I can so please, if you can, anything and I mean anything will help give him the best send of he thoroughly deserves.
