It is with a heavy heart we inform you that Martin Eugene Stowell, age 59, passed away on the morning of 10/31/2022. Born in Seattle on March 15, 1963, Martin was a loving and thoughtful husband of 26 years to Deborah Stowell. When Deborah first met Martin at the tender age of thirteen, she confidently proclaimed, “one day, I am going to marry you.” Of course, he was seventeen years old at the time and he laughed in her face. Little did he know that she would be having the last laugh. Martin was a proud, supportive, and loving father to two daughters, Sarah and Samantha, two sons, Dustin and Dylan, and one non-binary child, Aiden. Martin had one grandchild, Blaine, son of Samantha, who he cherished. He was the son of Carol and Richard Stowell (deceased), as well as brother to Jim (deceased) and his sisters, Linda and Angela.

The years had their ups and downs, but Martin never gave up and kept striving to support his family as he became well-known for his loyalty to friends and customers. He spent decades building a robust career in interior design in the Skagit Valley area. Martin was an avid rock collector, enthusiastic smoker and BBQer, and known for his sharp wit and sarcasm.
His absence has left a hole in the lives of his loved ones that will never be filled. Instead of sending flowers, please consider donating what you can to @debbastowell

Funds will go to funeral costs and supporting his loved ones during these tragic and unexpected times. An end-of-life celebration will be held on November 20 from 1-3 pm at Dragers International Classics 1645 Walton Dr. in Burlington, Washington.
