A few weeks ago we received horrible news. My father was diagnosed with Cancer. Today, my dad has passed. Between the ups and downs of his diagnoses and focusing on all the ways he could get better, we didn’t get around to planning for this outcome.

Anyone who knew my dad could tell you hundreds of stories to vouche for his funny, honorable, and he loved to dance. There was never a dull moment with him around. He stopped at nothing to protect and support everyone he loved, especially us his children and my mom. He may be gone, but he’ll never be forgotten.

If you knew my father and would care to help us during these trying times, we would greatly appreciate anything you can help us with. Much love.

Hace unas semanas recibimos una noticia horrible. A mi padre le diagnosticaron cáncer. Hoy mi papá ha fallecido. Entre los altibajos de sus diagnósticos y centrándonos en todas las formas en que podía mejorar, no logramos planificar este resultado.

Cualquiera que conociera a mi papá podría contar cientos de historias que avalan su carácter divertido, honorable y que le encantaba bailar. Nunca hubo un momento aburrido con él cerca. No se detuvo ante nada para proteger y apoyar a todos los que amaba, especialmente a nosotros, sus hijos y mi mamá. Puede que ya no esté, pero nunca lo olvidaremos.

Si conociera a mi padre y quisiera ayudarnos durante estos tiempos difíciles, le agradeceríamos mucho cualquier cosa en la que pueda ayudarnos. Mucho amor.
