Martina "BE KIND"

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sergio, I'm Martina’s dad. Martina passed suddenly on November 24, 2022, only 4 days after her 20th birthday. On that day she came out of her room around 9:58 pm saying her head was hurting. I told her okay, to wait a little to see if it would go away, thinking it was just a headache like many times before, At 10:28 I called 911 as I noticed she was not feeling right. She was talking and didn't seem too serious. The ambulance arrived around 10:38, they were checking Martina out and said they would take her to the hospital to make sure, unfortunately at 10:49 she went unconscious, which put me and my son Stefano in a panic and seconds later she stopped breathing and seconds after that she went into cardiac arrest. At this point the paramedics were not sure what was going on, My world seemed to stop at that moment as I was in total shock, The paramedics started CPR on her but were not successful so the paramedics called for another ambulance to come and help with the situation, that wasn't working so they called a third ambulance, in the end it took them 40 minutes to stabilize her and they rushed her to the hospital. When myself, my ex wife and son got to the hospital, they told us that she had a brain aneurysm and the next 24 hours were critical. The damage was too severe and our baby princess was not able to be SAVED. We were all in total disbelief. Our lives became like "the walking dead" We somehow ended up deciding to donate her organs to save someone who needed her heart, lungs etc.. to give others a chance at life. Today it's 9 months later and still we cannot function normally. How can one go on facing the worst possible tragedy and trauma in life?Losing your child. Martina was dedicated in all she ever did. She became a black belt at only 16 years old, She was so driven and never gave up. It's funny-in life usually we inspire our children but Martina inspired us. She always said "BE KIND" and now our life mission in her honor will be the foundation called "BE KIND FOUNDATION" and raise money for families that face this type of tragedy of losing a child. Most parents cannot grieve as life doesn't care, bills, mortgages etc... keep coming in every month. I would love with the funds raised to help families by giving them money so they can not worry about financial stress alongside the grieving of losing a child, it's impossible to do. I will be posting a video of the families that I will choose to help so you can all see the difference your donations will make. It will never help with the pain and destruction and of course the "GUILT" in their lives, but it will give them the time needed to process the loss of their child. They will be alone as friends, family etc... will go back to their lives pretty quickly as they remain stuck on that horrible day when their child died. You can go see how beautiful Martina was as a person on "YOUTUBE" it would be under Martina Borrelli. Thank you AND REMEMBER TO "BE KIND".
