Martine Hughes-House Fire

Donation protected
It has been a long weekend and I would like to ask for your prayers for Bryan’s Aunt Martine.

She is the leader of our Hughes family. She has helped us so much through the covid school shut down with Colt and everyone else in the family! She is always just a phone call away when anyone needs her.

Her home burned last Friday due to lightning from the storms Thursday evening.

Bryan Hughes, Byron Hughes, Angie Carpenter Hughes, Wendy Walker Pate, Tonya Kelley Mitchell and myself worked all through the weekend with Aunt Martine attempting to salvage what we could from the house. There wasn’t a lot that could be saved. There was tremendous smoke damage.

She has suffered through a lot in the last two years. She lost her daughter (Laura), her best friend and dear sister (Priscilla), her great-niece (Brighton) and now this.

Aunt Martine did not have insurance.

She may not have had a lot but she has a lot of love for the Lord and her family. We will regroup and we will do what it takes to help Aunt Martine.

Please keep her in your prayers and we appreciate any donations to help her find a new home and replace essentials along with so many things she will need for day to day living.
