Memorial Fund for the family of Marty Lund

My brother, Marty, passed away unexpectedly on July 21st, leaving behind his wife, Lisa, and their 14 year old daughter, Hannah.

Marty suffered complications resulting from a late diagnosis of liver cancer, and he fought hard over the last several weeks, but there was too little time for it to make a difference. We are shocked and devastated.  Our hearts are breaking, not only because we have lost someone we so dearly love, but equally as much for Lisa and Hannah whose sudden sense of loss is unfathomable to us all. 

We are planning to do all we can to be there for Lisa and Hannah in their day-to-day lives, and to help with the life-changing transitions that his absence will bring in the days, weeks and years to come.  For now, I'm confident we can lighten the financial burden by helping with funeral expenses and and the many unexpected financial obligations that have accumulated in a very short period of time, as their household has suddenly gone from two incomes to one. 

Marty was passionate about helping others, always.  He enhanced the lives of so many people through counseling as a licensed Therapist and giving his time and attention to family and friends when they were in need.  He made my parents proud, he was the best big brother ever, and a favorite uncle and cousin.  He was a devoted, loving husband and father.  He was a guiding light in my life and in the lives of so many people around him.  

Marty always paid it forward.  In that same spirit, please donate to show love and support for Lisa and Hannah, and as a tribute in honor of the beautiful life and legacy that Marty left behind.
