Donate in the memory of Marvin Baodu Baah

Dear Friends,

We are reaching out on behalf of Marvin’s family, both in Canada and in Ghana, to share a heartbreaking tragedy that has deeply affected us all. On October 7th, 2024, our beloved Marvin was senselessly murdered, being shot and killed, and caught in the crossfire of gun violence in Toronto.

Marvin was an innocent bystander, a young man brimming with potential. He moved to Canada from Ghana in 2022 to pursue his studies in accounting and business management at York University, leaving behind his mother, father, and three younger siblings.

In this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your support. We are working to bring his mother and siblings to Canada so that she can find peace and closure as we lay Marvin to rest. Any contribution you can make would be immensely appreciated. Together, we can honour his memory and support his family through this unimaginable loss.
