My name is Teresa Rowan, I am the daughter of Marvin Woodward. My father and my mother had six children. He adopted my mother's two children from a previous marriage and then together they had four more children. My father was a hard worker. He worked hard to take care of us so my mother could stay home to raise us. I remember as a young child watching him come home from a factory job dirty and sweaty from a long day at work. And even though he was tired he still planned meals because he loved to cook for us. His passions included cooking, cars, guitars, hockey, and his family. I admire how hard my father worked for us. Even tired he still cooked for us because he loved to see us with full bellies and big smiles. He would take me fishing as a child, and taught me everything I know hook, line and sinker. His laugh was loud and infectious. I will miss hearing him laugh and making jokes. When I bought my first house with my husband, we were struggling to feed ourselves. He and my mother brought us food. He was the one that told me anything was possible as long as I worked hard. Don't take it laying down! He and my mother encouraged my husband and myself to find our own home and when we did, he was there if something broke and my husband was working. He was there if we needed food to eat and couldn't afford it. I will miss the way he hugged. Big squeezes and sighs. He loved with his whole heart. I will miss his text messages to me about how much he loves me and how proud he was to be his kids' father. My father suffered through many battles in his life and fought hard all the way until the end. He had lung cancer, lymphoma, and Rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The medications he took made his body grow weaker through the years. When he was diagnosed with RA, I watched him struggle to work through the pain. Finally, his body gave up and he had to retire. I know my father and that was one of the hardest things he ever had to do. He would give you his last penny if he thought it would help. Which is why I am asking for my father now, because he needs his pennies back universe so that I can give my father a proper send off. I pray that I can honor him the way he deserves. Peace be with you and thank you if you decide to help.

I love my dad and as my tears fall down my face, I pray one day we will see each other again. I hope your jamming up there is heaven playing that guitar the way you wish you still could. I will always remember your rhythms dad; may they guide me through my life.
