Mary & Wayne Junior Memorial Service Fund

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved parents, Wayne and Mary Junior on August 8, 2023.

We have begun a fundraiser to aid with the expenses of their Joint Memorial Services which is to be held at Bethal Baptist Church on September 8th, 2023 at 2pm.

We don’t fully comprehend what the last few weeks have consisted of but we do know this: What a blessing to have had these two as our parents. They loved so many and were so loved but the love they had for each other, was beyond special. They were so connected that they decided to leave this world on the same day, just a few hours apart.

We are heartbroken and know our lives will never be the same. This feels like a dream, a nightmare in fact. We find comfort in knowing that we made the most precious memories. The countless vacations and cruises will always stand out. We hold on tight to the promise that they are both resting peacefully together, doing all the things their sick, earthly bodies were no longer able to do. We hold on tight to the fact that they loved us endlessly which we feel even now in their passing.

We can’t begin to wrap our heads around the timing of their homegoing but find solace in knowing that they went together; The way they wanted to.

May they rest beautifully with all those who have gone before. I ask that you please pray for us at this time and I also pray that this connects us all. Our parents were SO good at staying connected to those they loved and we will now carry the torch. What an amazing legacy they leave.
