Mary Ann gives, let's give back
Donation protected
When I was growing up, I used to go to my Aunt Mary's house to help her clean up, change curtains, and get into all those hard to reach kinds of places. In my Aunt Mary's case, most places were hard to reach. She is severely arthritic and has been on crutches and been using modified devices her entire life. You wouldn't know if all you had was the sound of her voice, because she always stayed upbeat and optimistic. She taught me to move with grace and kindness regardless of the circumstance. She didnt teach through words as much as through her actions. With all the kindness and generosity I have seen her put forth, I believe it is time to give back. How you ask?
She is in need of a wheel chair and insurace will not cover what she needs. The wheel chair needs to be accessible, portable and fit with her current life style, as they do not have the funds, nor time to make home modifications. The wheel chair itself will require professional modifications to work for her lifestyle. She is in constant need of medical assistance and takes it all in stride. I have seen her help others who are down on their luck, when even she had so little to give, she gave.
With the winter and ice building, getting this wheelchair is so important to avoid accidents due to having to use only her crutches. Just recently she took a fall and broke a few ribs. Her wonderful husband Jeff does what he can to help carry her from place to place, upstairs and down, around the ice, but even he has had his fair share of physical issues ranging from cancer to work injuries that had him out of work for months. Despite the constant back and forth of physical ailments, these two have remained a positive role model for me, and I am sure many others. All of the donations will go DIRECTLY to my Aunt Mary Ann for her wheel chair and possible necessary modifications.
Please take the time to donate to Aunt Mary to help get her the medical necessities she so needs. She would never ask a single soul for this help, so it's our job to offer it knowing she could use it.
