Mary Anstey & Nancy Atchison
Join us in celebrating the lives of two remarkable women who were taken from us too soon; Mary Anstey & Nancy Atchison.
We first met Nancy at the legendary halloween parties in Constance Bay and when we came to look for a house in Kanata, Nancy was who we turned to.
Why did we move to Kanata? Well to look after my mom who was undergoing treatment for lung cancer, the time we spent together during those last few years was tough but cherished and we finally said goodbye to her in October 2020.
When we bought Nancy’s house we made a promise that we would revive the fall spaghetti dinners that her and her husband hosted, and we’d do it to honour their memory and raise money to help in combatting this awful disease.
