Mary Cairo Medical Costs

I am Andrea Scherer (retired) I am raising $$ to help Mary Cairo (retired) out with medical expenses. Some of you may know, she had an extreme medical emergency and almost didn't survive. What started as a cyst/staph infection turned into sepsis and kidney failure. She had surgery to remove a large section of infected/dead tissue from her backside. She was in the ICU for 5 days on an intubater and then started dialysis (due to kidney failure). The wound is too large to close so she is looking at possible skin grafts. She is now in a wound care treatment center and will be for the next 3-4 weeks. Mary had to retire at 19 years and age 43 (due to a medical, non-IOD disability). She has a special needs son and lives on a limited income. Her insurance is self paid and will not cover a large portion of her medical costs. Mary has struggled with numerous back surgeries over the last 10 years but this event was devastating. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated and much needed. I thank you all so much!
