Mary Florlaine Litiatco's Cancer Treatment

Dear Family and Friends,

We are reaching out to let you know that we are kicking off a campaign to raise funds for my sister, Mary Florlaine "Lenlen' L. Pineda to support her and her family financially and emotionally as she fights for her life.

Lenlen is currently battling Cancer. She was diagnosed last October 15, 2019 with Breast Cancer Stage IIIA. She had undergone series of chemotherapy and had her right breast removed last February 2020 and even went for Targeted Therapy afterwards. She has been looking good since then BUT when she got her appointment for follow-up last Sept 2022, her doctor felt some nodules around her neck and opted her for excision of those. 6 Nodules were removed and were sent for biopsy. 5 of the nodules tested positive for HER-2 (A positive test for HER2 means breast cancer may grow quickly and possibly come back (recur). This risk is significantly lowered with appropriate treatment). She was then advised to go through another treatment, and this time, with 200mg KADCYLA, a drug specific to her findings. The treatment needs 18 cycles and each 200mg of KADYCLA costs P130,660K (€2,200), amounting to P2,351,880 (€39600).

It is again with this that we are HUMBLY ASKING FOR YOUR HELP.

The prognosis for breast cancer is good and a full recovery if treated the right way is very possible, but again WE NEED YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT.

My sister is 36 yo and a mother of 2 little princesses (a 3yo and a 6 yo). She has a fierce spirit that even with the current crisis, she is doing her best along with her husband to provide for their kids, but the effects of this illness are devastating not only to her but to her family as well.

We don’t want to lose to this fight. PLEASE HELP US MAKE MY SISTER HEALTHY AGAIN. Our goal is to raise as much as we can to ease the medical expenses that is putting stress to our family. Any amount will be highly appreciated and we will be forever be in debt for saving my sister’s life.
