Mary Grace’s Hospital Transfer
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Ashley Robichaux and I am Mary Grace’s mom.
In November 2022, I was pregnant with Mary Grace and was Diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia. I spent almost a month in the hospital before I had her at 32 weeks 5 days.
Following delivery, we were met with several challenges during her NICU stay. Feeding intolerance, developing NEC, placement of a GTUBE, amongst a few other issues.
After 123 days in the NICU, we finally were able to bring her home. We were doing good for about 3 weeks and then we ended up in the hospital again.
Mary Grace was inconsolable, running high fever and vomiting blood. They did numerous tests and everything came back “normal.”
They ruled it as a bad GI bug In combination with a virus.
Fast forward to last Thursday, May 18th, she began doing it again but this time she had blood in her stool as well.
All of her testing and labs have come back “normal.”
Doctors are saying that they are not seeing anything structurally wrong. They believe this could be a motility issue or a neurological issue.
The next plan of care is to Transfer her to Texas Children’s Hospital.
They have more specialized testing, doctors and care for her needs.
This has come as a shock to us and we are heart broken. We are desperately wanting an answer and are unsure of how long we will be there. with the transfer, it means that we will be away from home and are unsure for how long.
To prepare for this transfer, God put it on my heart to start this GoFundMe.
Any donations given will be used for us during her transfer❤️
Thank you in advance for sharing, donating and praying with us.
