Mary Guthrie

Our beloved Mary recently passed on 6/12/2023. Mary was a wonderful wife, sister, mother and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind a wife Eva & 4 daughters Cat, Marianne, Kayleigh & Robyn.

Mary dedicated her life to helping others and spent many years working with people with learning disabilities in residential care and older people.

Mary has supported many people over the years with her caring nature and also lit up a room with her humour, wit and laughter.

Mary fought for equality and dedicated many years towards supporting Equity Partnership the LGBTQ+ charity in Bradford.

We are all devastated by Mary’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, most of which is not covered on her funeral plan.

We wanted to give Mary the memorial she deserved, to honour her memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mary’s funeral and to take away the burden on Mary’s family of the bills coming in.
