Mary Heyl Funeral Expenses

Donation protected
Hello everyone,

Thank you so much for supporting the Heyl family during this tragic time. With the blessing of the family, I have started this campaign. For those who do not know the Heyl family, here is their story.

The Heyl Family

Rachel, Kayla, David, and Matthew unexpectedly lost their dad at an incredibly young age. Mary, who took on the role of both father and mother, was an amazing parent who showed unbelievable strength after the death of her husband. She was known for her sense of humor, obsession with Tim McGraw, brutal honesty, and love for the beach. Mary retired in May after working at Western & Southern for 42 years. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild who is due October 2020.

Incident of Mary’s Passing

Life unfortunately changed quickly. Mary was spending the day with her pregnant daughter, kayaking, and enjoying the sun, when she suffered from a massive brain aneurysm. She was rushed to the hospital where she endured two brain surgeries and was pronounced dead on June 16th. She leaves behind her four children and unborn grandchild.

Organ Donation

Mary selflessly chose the gift of life, which she had displayed on her license. The Heyl children have collaborated with medical staff and representatives from Life Center to identify candidates to receive tissue and organ donations, in compliance with their mother’s wishes. These conversations are never easy, but together they made decisions that will save and enrich many other lives. This truly reflects the way Mary raised them, which is to be strong, caring, and compassionate.

Funeral

Unfortunately, the Heyl family have further difficult decisions ahead of them, with steep, incumbent costs. We ask that you consider donating any amount you can spare. Share with them the same generosity they have displayed to the community and allow them to celebrate Mary’s life.
