Hi my name is Matthew Huggard and I'm raising money for both of my parent's which, unfortunately died the same day. I am the oldest of three siblings, Mitchell Allen Grzegorczyk, Macal Booth Huggard, Marcie Mae Huggard. No words nor explanation could ever logically define a reason that could comfort my siblings and I as well as our extended family and friends. Unfortunately death is the ONLY thing we are promised in life, I'm confident that we can all accept that as well as learn to cope with the terms that surround that unfortunate reality in which we have all experienced at one time or another. I myself will NEVER understand why the powers that are far greater than ANYTHING I myself could ever understand would take not one but, both of our parents the same day which happens to be my father's birthday. Our mother Mary Louise Grzegorczyk (Awad), was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, brain cancer, as well as liver cancer. My siblings and I accepted that my mother did not have very much time left on this earth. Fortunately, my mother tried her best to make preparations pertaining to The severity of her health. When my siblings and I walked out the door to accompany our mother, we all knew she would more than likely not make it home from the hospital.
Our father Michael Allen Huggard (Mick) expressed that he was having difficulty breathing and decided to stay home while he contemplated coming to the hospital himself regarding his obvious breathing trouble and our advised concerns regarding his condition. Shortly after we settled ourselves into my mother's room awaiting hospice to bring her home. The devastating news of my father's totally unexpected death was conveyed to us. Despite any of the articulation skills I've ever acquired in my life, I cannot find the words to describe our loss. I am reaching out to anyone that has taken the time to read our families unbelievable misfortune and asking for your help and support in any way you can help. My father had no life insurance and my mother very little coverage in the event something so tragic like this happens. My family, as well as my siblings and I just hope that you can look beyond any lack of preparation My parents came short with assuming something like this would never happen. Truth is everything happens for a reason and on behalf of siblings as well as myself and extended family we would appreciate any help in any way that you can help us with because I don't have a means of paying for my parents to have a peaceful burial. We are grateful for anything at this point. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. God bless all, may he protect us all, and allow us to get through this in spite of any odds that manifested into this nightmare of a reality.
