Mary Ludwig Camp Fire Fund

Mary grew up in Paradise. She tells me she has been working in Paradise since she was 12 years old. Her whole life was in Paradise and it has been turned upside down since the Camp Fire. Mary was my daughter Charlotte's second grade teacher. She was also on the bus with Charlotte and over 20 other students that drove through terror to safety. Mary left her car and her own family behind to get on the bus and keep my kid, and the others safe and cared for. Her mommy heart told her that those kids needed extra love and she wasn't wrong. Those kids were terrified, my own kiddo tells me that there was a moment when she thought for sure they would die in there. Mary kept her head and helped those kids through the scariest event in their lives. I know that she is concerned about how she moves forward, both emotionally and financially.
