Mary Manley’s Camino Dream for Hospice

Mary Manley from the village of Donard who retired just a short time ago now wants to fulfil a lifetime dream.

Mary hopes to walk the French Camino from 8th to 15th September as part of the the Irish hospice foundation 2023 Camino Challenge.

“Make every step count by walking the French Camino – Crossing the Pyrenees in aid of Irish Hospice Foundation”

Walking for the hospice challenge makes it more worthwhile for Mary as she does so in remembering her late husband Gerry, her brother John and more recently her best friend Maureen Quigley.

All three were cared for wonderfully by the hospice staff
