Mary Nelson’s Cervical Cancer Battle

Hi, my name is Lisa and I am raising money for my sweet friend Mary Nelson. To know Mary is to love her. She is the sweetest, kindest soul I have ever met. She is a beautiful wife, mother of 2, and a high school graphic design teacher. I have had the privilege of calling her one of my best friends for about 2 years. My life is forever changed because she is in it.

Mary was diagnosed 5 years ago with type 2B cervical cancer. She has been fighting this terrible disease that has wreaked havoc on her body. She’s had multiple rounds of chemo, multiple rounds of radiation, and multiple surgeries. Her cancer has metastasized. Mary recently underwent emergency surgery leaving her out of work for 6 weeks. She has been home recovering from surgery, adjusting to a new life with an ostomy bag and has been undergoing chemo treatments. All without pay as she is out of days to use.

I am hoping that we can give Mary and her family some help with medical bills and home expenses while she continues to battle this terrible disease.
