Dr Mary-Sarah's Brain Tumour Family & Friends Fund

Two days ago, (5th March 2024) our dear friend, Mary-Sarah, was diagnosed with a meningioma (a primary brain tumour of the meninges)
She is currently in the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania, Australia, due to undergo surgery on March 7th, 2024. As we all know, Mary-Sarah always has the most encouraging outlook on life, and all of us are hopeful that the 4cm x 4cm tumour can be successfully removed and treated for a positive outcome.
Anyone who knows Mary-Sarah will agree that she is a beautiful person with a heart of gold, and always ready to brighten our day with her contagious spirit, often there for those in need, giving for others first, while thinking of herself last.
Mary-Sarah, (also known as Dr Fuzzely Wuzz in Paeds) has been conducting research into the field of oncology at CQUNI and has completed her Post Grad degree, while lecturing different medical subjects. Since last month she has been back working as a registered nurse. Mary-Sarah endeavours to get back into practising medicine and is scheduled to sit the Interstate Australian Medical Council Clinical exams in June. Her plan is on doing a bridging course to be well prepared for this exam on the 12th of June, 2024.
Mary-Sarah has expressed that she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone, however, we have requested her permission to create this GoFundMe page, as we know many love and care for Mary-Sarah and would like to add a little to help fund the additional costs related to her surgery, recovery and ongoing living costs while she recuperates.
She will likely require a lengthy period of time off work, without income, while recovering.
If you would like to add a little towards Mary-Sarah's fund, whether $10. $20, $50, or as you feel able, every donation would be appreciated and help lighten the burden of financial costs ahead.
Thankyou for your love, care and thoughts towards our friend, Mary-Sarah and though we are spread far apart around the globe, we are thankful that we can unite together to show her our mutual care.
