Mary Sue Rice

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Mary Sue Rice on February 29th, 2024 in Berthoud, CO. Mary Sue was the loving wife to Eric Rice and mother to two daughters, Alyson and Susan, she also leaves behind four wonderful grandchildren.

Mary Sue was a vibrant, compassionate, and kind person who loved her community in the Longmont, Co area. She loved taking in and caring for animals big and small and the people who knew her knew how much pride she took in playing the role of adoptive mother to all of her fur-babies.

Mary Sue worked at IBM for 30 years, building strong friendships that evolved from just work acquaintances to family, touching everyone who had a chance to walk by her side.

This is a difficult time for all of those in the community which she made such a big impact, but we will keep our warm memories of Mary Sue to help us heal.
