Mary Tavy Community Footpath

Donation protected
The Mary Tavy Community Footpath (the Jubilee Footpath) from the Coronation Hall Field to the Mary Tavy Inn was opened in 2012 thanks to the generosity of the landowner, donations from local businesses and the collective efforts of members of the community to raise the necessary funds. Over the last 13 years, the path has been improved through the addition of a hardcore surface, again funded by the community and various grants, and maintenance (strimming / hedge cutting etc) has ben done by keen volunteers eager to keep this valuable facility open and useable throughout the year
Sadly, the post and rail fence, which runs the length of the footpath, is now in urgent need of replacement, so funds again need to be raised for the work which will ensure the future of the footpath.
Put simply, no fence,no footpath!
So, again, we ask for your support to replace the fence so that the footpath can continue to provide a safe walking route around the village.
Please help us to maintain this valuable community asset.
Thank you.
